Aubrey's First Birthday {Lemoore Child Photography}

Aubrey is just six days younger than my son. She is the beautiful granddaughter of one of my co-workers. Joseph had a wonderful time at the birthday party, despite having a "spat" with his little girlfriend. Hahaha. I had a great time photographing the event. I will post more photos soon - life is hectic as always.

I'm Baaack! Wow! I can't believe how long it has been since I have posted. Life has been non-stop, but it is only going to continue now that my son is almost a year old and crawling all over the place. Well, it is about time that I post some more photos, so I won't waste any time blabbing. Here are some of my favorites over the past few months. I hope you enjoy!

Finding the Joy

Wow! I did not realize how long it had been since I posted. Life has been wonderfully busy. Between work, my son, and photo sessions I guess I lost track of my last blog post. As a part of my journey to becoming a better photographer it seemed that I was not getting as many photographs of my Joy, my son - Joseph. So, in order to be able to document his life & the things that are important to me, him, and what I want us to remember in the future I joined a photography "class" in Finding the Joy. So far I am behind, as it always seems I am trying to catch up on things, but I look forward to all the assignments that are to come. As I go through this journey I will do my best to post my favorite photos from each week. We are currently on week 3, so I have some catching up to do!

I was just reading through the first two assignments and Week Two is {places}, and I think I actually got a really cute shot of my son in his crib that would meet the guidelines for the week. So, here it is:

Sarah's Rock the Dress

I finally found some time to edit and upload a few pictures from Sarah's Rock the Dress session. I had such a great time taking these of her & her youngest little girl. They are so beautiful. Thank you for being such a good sport Sarah! I {heart} you! :)

Upcoming photo shoots

I am so excited to have 7 photo shoots lined up in the coming month! Granted, these are all for portfolio building, but I am excited to have the practice none the less. Tomorrow is number one. At the last minute I decided to ask my neighbors daughters if they wanted to do a photo shoot so they can give the prints to their dad for his birthday. They are excited to do it and so am I!
Next week I have another three session lined up. My first ever maternity session, family session, and trash the dress. I'm looking for inspiration for all of these sessions tonight. I can't wait to share sneak peeks when I'm done! Lots of posting to come!!
